Woodie Cars
A big part of my life is focused on Woodie cars. My husband, Marty, loves them. I think they’re pretty cool too, but they are definitely Marty’s passion. As a result, we are members of the National Woodie Club, the Northwest Chapter. We also take an annual trip to Santa Cruz, California to attend Woodies on the Wharf, which is always fun. Recently Marty finished building his first Woodie car, a 1936 Ford. We have already had the opportunity to take his car to several shows including the 2009 Portland Roadster Show and Doheny Wood in 2009. Marty has already started his next Woodie car project and we foresee several more car shows in our future.
