Historic And Vintage Properties

In addition to “traditional” real estate business, I am very privileged to have had the opportunity to provide real estate services to buyers and sellers of properties of historic significance and vintage style in and around Corvallis, Oregon—Each property, like its current or future owner has its own character, style and needs. Finding the right personality for the property, meeting the needs and goals of the vintage home buying or selling public and working through the unique challenges presented by each property is what makes this segment of the market so satisfying.

I work primarily in Linn and Benton Counties, which includes Albany, Philomath, Corvallis and the surrounding areas. There are many historically significant homes in the area, especially around the Oregon State University campus, in the historic Albany downtown as well as rural properties in the surrounding countryside.

First-Time Homebuyers

One of the most emotionally satisfying aspects of my career is the opportunity to mentor and provide services to first-time homebuyers. I feel that I’m doing my part to protect their interests as they pursue the “American Dream” of homeownership. It’s not always an easy path, nor a fast one, but it’s one of the most rewarding aspects of my business. The process of teaching the language and processes associated with this major financial commitment are immensely satisfying. Having been trained to participate in the teaching of the required Homeownership Training Classes sponsored by Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services (formerly Corvallis Neighborhood Services) enhances my ability to assist my first-time homebuyer clients.

Luxury Home Markets

With a track record of successfully representing buyers and sellers of luxury properties and having completed a prescribed certification course to earn the Previews® Property Specialist designation, I am well equipped to respond to the special needs of this specific market area. The Previews® course covers topics such as developing detailed market analysis for sellers of luxury homes and how to make use of Previews® resources to implement specialized marketing plans that will expose exceptional properties to affluent buyers on a world wide basis. Through the success of this program, Coldwell Banker Previews International is a world leader in the marketing of luxury homes.

The Previews® Program is exclusively for luxury residential properties. Properties should be priced within the top 10% price range of the local marketplace or $500,000, whichever is higher. In addition to price, the property should be of exceptional quality and style, and reflect the prestigious image of the Previews® program.
